Eagle Leaders

Eagle Leaders mentor other youth leaders in Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry

Eagle Leaders guide other youth leaders to implement Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry. These experienced youth leaders form a growing network who equip others through mentoring relationships.

After certification to become an Eagle Leader, each youth leader prayerfully explores the following four options to discover how their own unique approach will express itself. Then one or all of these multiplication elements become a significant expression of his/her ministry.

1. Equips Mentorees. Both locally and through various relationships with other youth leaders, an Eagle Leader can mentor other youth leaders through Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry.

2. Leads at JFYM Forums. The new Eagle Leader assists the Reach Out team at a JFYM Forum by leading a large group session and investing in a small group of youth leaders. Over time, an Eagle Leader can then conduct his/her own JFYM Forum. (Reach Out provides all of the tools needed for this ).

3. Adopts a Cross-Cultural Mission. The new Eagle Leader considers how to invest in youth leaders in another culture, whether across the street or around the world. The Eagle Leader can either choose to equip other youth leaders in a cross-cultural relationship through his/her church, or through an international trip with Reach Out to train indigenous leaders. (Reach Out offers several trips a year). Multiplication of JFYM happens rather quickly in these cross-cultural and global environments.

4. Recruits Supporters. Many people have a heart for God and for kids. Reach Out has a desire to connect these people to the larger cause of equipping leaders and reaching kids. Whether through praying, giving or going, we hope to connect people with resources to people with little or no resources. We want to identify individuals with a heart and a vision for the younger generation.

Statistics show that only 10% of all people who go through training implement what they have learned.

However, when they have a mentor to guide them through the learning process, this number increases to 80%.
