What are the Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry Forums all about?

The Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry Forum will take your ministry to a new level of depth and maturity that will look more and more like the way Jesus did ministry.

The Forum offers an intensive three-day experience that gives focused attention to you and your ministry and explores with you how to best implement Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry. An experienced Eagle Leader will lead a small group of Forum participants step-by-step through the Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry curriculum.

The Forum is not a conference with speakers, lectures and instruction. It has a limit of about 25 participants. An Eagle Leader who has already applied Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry guides the participants by leading a small group of about five other youth leaders. Together they discuss how to implement each element of Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry, working through obstacles and questions. Creative discussion, Q&A and prayerful times of reflection characterize the Forum schedule.

The JFYM Forum fits into three-phase a mentoring process for youth leaders:

1. Introduce. After obtaining the Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry kit and before attending the Forum, each participant will...

listen to the CDs
write an initial Plan of Action.

By doing this beforehand, time at the Forum can be spent investing more directly in your ministry.

2. Implement. At the JFYM Forum you, as a youth leader, receive focused attention on your life and ministry that results in a specific and unique plan to implement Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry in your church. We will assist in designing a plan for implementing Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry according to your unique personal and ministry needs, working through the barriers you face and helping you find answers to your most asked questions. Each Forum participant will receive on-going mentoring after the Forum to assist in effectively implementing Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry.

3. Multiply. Once a youth leader implements Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry, he/she has the opportunity to become an Eagle Leader and mentor other youth leaders. This provides an opportunity not only to affect your church but also, over time, countless other churches as well.
